Commitments

The directors and management of Kemklean (Pty) Ltd are committed to a number of policies that govern and direct all activities within the scope of the business model as defined within the context of the cleaning and hygiene chemicals sector of the economy. To demonstrate our commitment, individual policy statements for each of the following issues have been developed and implemented.

• Quality Management Policy – QMS
• Safety, Health and Environment Policy – SHE
• Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Policy – BBEE

The QMS policy covers the daily activities of the manufacturing and distribution departments of the company. The primary focus here is to comply with the prescripts of ISO 9001: 2000 international quality management system. The SHE policy
endeavors to comply with occupational health and safety issues of the workplace as well as the protection of the environment. Through the BBEE policy initiatives the company strives to empower historically disadvantaged individuals and/or groups. Each of the afore-mentioned policies contains commitment to continually improve the processes required to sustain the company objectives. It is also the company’s predisposition that as a minimum, every employee will comply with relevant legislation at local, regional, national and international level in the course of our business activity.

External accredited bodies regularly audit the company to determine the level of compliance and to make improvement recommendations
